Join MGMA St. Louis on Wednesday, July 8th, for a discussion on in-house
collections and the suit process, statutory liens, workers' compensation
and probate claims in Missouri.
About Our Speaker:
Diane Ortlip earned her B.S. in Education from the Ohio State University
in 1975 and her Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School
in 1982. She was admitted (inactive status) to the Ohio Bar in 1982 and
has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1989. Mrs. Ortlip is a
member of the Greater St. Louis Chapter of the HFMA. She is also a
member of the American Bar Association and the Health Law Section. She
has 27 years experience including 19 years of collection law experience.
Prior to her joining the law firm of Kramer & Frank P.C., she was an
associate attorney with Gerald Bamberger & Associates in St. Charles,
MO. She joined Kramer & Frank P.C. in 1996 and has been the Managing
Attorney over the Medical Claims Division since 2002. Mrs. Ortlip
concentrates her practice on the representation of health care providers
including hospitals, physicians, dentists, orthodontists, chiropractors,
etc. She became an equity principal of Kramer & Frank, P.C. in 2008.
Learning Objectives:
This presentation will cover in-house collections and the suit process,
statutory liens, workers' compensation and probate claims in Missouri.
