Coming Meetings:
MGMA of Greater St. Louis 2010 - 2011 Theme:
Decades of Excellence
The Open
Book Management Revolution
Do your employees go beyond simply performing their jobs?
Are they truly engaged in the quest for your organization's success?
Find out about Open-Book Management (OBM) and how it can engage your
workforce, create a high-involvement culture, increase
high-accountability, and improve your organization's performance
At this session, participants will learn:
- What "Open-Book Management" is and perhaps more
importantly, what it is not.
- Why and how to align each department's definition of
success with the organization's definition of success
- Why the familiar business saying "What gets measured,
gets managed" is only half right.
- How to implement a bonus program while avoiding the
"entitlement mentality"
- How a 122 bed regional hospital in Georgia got
employees involved in tracking and improving measures such as net
income, patient admissions, daily census, safety and productivity.
